☞ PLASMIDS
♠ ELECTRO BOLT (2): Sends a jolt of electricity to electrocute an opponent, stun or activate machinery, and occasionally open doors. Moderate stun time. Costs approximately 110 EVE.
♠ INCINERATE (1): Sets the target on fire, dealing damage over time. Also ignites any flammable object in the firing radius. Costs approximately 48 EVE.
♠ TELEKINESIS: Pulls the targeted object towards the user and allows them to throw it forward, dealing physical damage to anything it hits. Objects are held indefinitely until released. Costs approximately 15 EVE, and only when an object is thrown.
♠ INSECT SWARM (1): Spawns a swarm of bees which will home in on the nearest enemy, damaging them as well as distracting them. Lasts about 20 seconds. Costs approximately 48 EVE.
♠ WINTER BLAST (1): Temporarily freezes the target, allowing them to be shattered using another weapon. Targets thaw after about 10 seconds. Costs approximately 80 EVE. Comes with a risk of frostbite to Jack if overused.
♠ LITTLE SISTER ANTIDOTE: Allows Jack to rescue Little Sisters. No known EVE cost.


☞ GENE TONICS
♠ ARMORED SHELL (2): Combat tonic. Prevents 25% of piercing and bludgeoning damage.
♠ ELECTRIC FLESH (1): Combat tonic. Reduces electric damage received by 75% and increases outgoing electric damage by 30%.
♠ STATIC DISCHARGE (1): Combat tonic. Causes the user to emit an electric burst when struck by a melee attack. Has a low chance to actually "shock" the attacker. Has an even chance of shocking Jack as well.
♠ WRENCH LURKER (1): Combat tonic. Increases damage dealt by Jack's melee weapon, his trusty wrench, when he catches an attacker off guard.
♠ BOOZE HOUND: Physical tonic. Drinking alcohol allows Jack to restore a small amount of EVE as well as health. This does not save him from any other negative side effects that may be involved while drinking.
♠ EVE SAVER: Physical tonic. Slightly reduces EVE cost for use of all plasmids (by 15%).
♠ HACKER'S DELIGHT (2): Physical tonic. A medium amount of health and EVE are gained after a successful hack of a mechanical device.
♠ SPORTBOOST: Physical tonic. Increases subject athleticism; movement speed increased by 10% and Wrench swing speed increased by 25%.
♠ SAFECRACKER: Engineering tonic. Increases Jack's aptitude while hacking safes and combination locks.
♠ SECURITY EXPERT: Engineering tonic. When hacking security devices, it removes up to two Alarm and Overload Tiles, one Acceleration tile, adds one Resistor tile, and the machine flow speed (the amount of time Jack has to hack equipment) is also reduced by a half second per tile.
♠ SHORTEN ALARMS (2): Engineering tonic. Reduces the length of hostile security alarms by forty seconds.
♠ SPEEDY HACKER: Engineering tonic. While hacking, it reduces the machine flow speed by one and a half seconds per tile.


☞ INVENTORY
♠ CLOTHES: Cable-knit sweater, pants, and the works, all stained an impressive amount of blood and saltwater.
♠ ONE (1) WRENCH: Trusty melee weapon.


☞ SUPPLIES
♠ ONE (1) BLESSINGS BASKET: Received on arrival. A lariat basket fashioned off with an antler. Used to obtain rewards at the end of each month. Offerings can be whatever sincere gesture the character might be willing to make, whether it be filling the basket with flowers or fruits, or cutting their palm and leaving blood inside. It's the intention that matters with the offering. Within a week, they will know whether or not their prayers were answered. Rewards will show up inside of the basket or near it.
♠ ONE (1) TYPED LETTER: Received on arrival. Warm to the touch, and scented like pine needles. Its contents are grim.
♠ TWO (2) MAPS: Received on arrival. One hand drawn map of the town, and one map of Maine.
♠ ONE (1) HANDBOOK: Received on arrival. Details the town's laws.
♠ ONE (1) EMPTY JAR: Received on arrival. Contains mixed nuts. Food must be regularly consumed to remain in Deerington.
♠ ONE (1) FIRST AID KIT: For healing.
♠ THREE (3) EVE HYPOS: Necessary for plasmid use. If Jack runs out, he will not be able to use his active offensive plasmids.

☞ FIRST IMPRESSIONS
♠ VISUAL: Physically massive, both in height and breadth. Stands at about six feet eleven inches. Broad shoulders, thick neck, and a generally solid, implacable stance. Looks to be equal parts muscle and compact fat. Pale brown hair, brown eyes, light olive skin. Possesses tattoos of chain symbols on the interior of each wrist.
♠ FASHION: Typically wears a beige cable-knit sweater. Often bedraggled, torn, or bloodied, like he got in a scrap and forgot to clean himself up afterwards. His wardrobe is simple and utilitarian.
♠ DEMEANOR: Largely silent. Capable of speech, but seldom dispenses two words when one would suffice. Restrained, observant, and resourceful. Capable of incredible violence and very aware of this fact, and not above making others aware of said fact if it serves him. Often succumbs to "RPG Protagonist Syndrome" - enters rooms without asking, pockets whatever objects he finds without permission, frisks corpses for useful items, etc. A semi-heavy drinker and smoker, but also susceptible to bizarrely childish behavior, such as a complete inability to recognize or handle his own panic.
♠ SOUND: When he does speak, it's with an American accent. The pace of his tone is quiet, even, and measured, but typically firm.
♠ SCENT: Smells of sea salt, brine, blood, sweat, and cigarette smoke. Also, frequently, alcohol.
♠ PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: Many of Jack's memories of his early life are false implantations, engineered by Rapture scientists, a fact of which he's only become dimly aware. Everything from his home to his parents' names and faces to a childhood he never had are fabrications that he still clings to, believing wholeheartedly.
♠ MAGICAL INFORMATION: None. He's capable of using plasmids, but they are decidedly scientific in nature due to having a basis in his genetic structure.
♠ MEDICAL INFORMATION: Jack's biological structure is a mess of invasive genetic engineering, growth acceleration, false memories, and the genetic rewiring that comes from frequent plasmid use. He is in actuality four years old, though he looks and acts like someone in his mid-twenties.


☞ IC PERMISSIONS
♠ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Jack has no problems with it, personally, though he might be uncertain as to how to handle it. He's not received much positive physical affection in his life span.
♠ HUGGING: He won't be sure on how to handle it, but he absolutely needs several hugs.
♠ KISSING: Platonic only, please.
♠ FLIRTING: He's four.
♠ RELATIONSHIPS: HE'S FOUR. But in all seriousness, no.
♠ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Inevitable, frankly, though it's always nice to sort things out via Plurk or PM if we wanna go this route!
♠ KILLING: Again, shoot me a heads-up so we can plot.
♠ IC TRIGGERS: Mental manipulation, mind control, child endangerment/abuse. As a related note, Jack also contains (at least) two mental trigger phrases that his body will respond to, whether he wants to or not: "would you kindly" will force him to perform whatever deed he is asked to do, while "code yellow" will kill him slowly as his heart tries to shut itself down.


☞ OOC PERMISSIONS
♠ BACKTAGGING: Always and forever!
♠ THREADJACKING: If all parties are amenable to it, so am I.
♠ OOC CONTENT WARNINGS: BioShock deals pretty heavily with body horror, and Jack's history in particular touches on medical experimentation done to a child. He doesn't have memories of most of this, so if you want me to leave out references of any of the above, just let me know.
♠ OOC TRIGGERS: Transphobia and misgendering. Shouldn't be a problem with Jack; just bear in mind that any period-appropriate slurs aren't really my bag. I'm fine if you slip up here and there, but please try and keep it to a minimum.
